Description

The flames are all in, in this two year window and Kane would be a great rental. But another more likely scenerio is that the Flames just hold off until the deadline giving prospects 9 and maybe games in the second line role, then if it seems right go after someone at the deadline instead of 2 million in cap space they will have 9 million to go after a rental. also would be nice to hold on to Valamaki as he could still bloom into a top 4 defenceman, he's only 23. let injuries make room for him to play.

Instead of Kane, what if Timo Meier suddenly becomes available ? That’s a guy they could trade for and extend

A boy that would be exciting, we'd take meier over Kane, because Meier is a great Sutter player, but then and again it would be nice to get Kane and screw Edmonton

Patty kane at 2625000, for a whole season is going to cost more then that.

if Monahan at 6.3mil cost and that was Montreal "steal" then Arizona taking 2.6 of Kanes salary would fair

Kane doesn't guarantee a win. Nobody does. That's why it's the hardest championship in sports.
