Description
Do we sign Pasta? I doubt it honestly but that should me our number one priority assuming Wally does not turn into a top sniper this season
I doubt Barzal gets more than 9 but getting Pasta will make that contract a steal
Bailey gets to 1000 games and we trade him
Pageau as much as I love him we need to move on, MTL is just a place holder
You may be against resigning Parise but idk who to replace him with and I think he would be a good mentor for Raty, maybe another rookie like Holmstrom but I think Dufour makes the team over him but maybe he makes the team over Parise who knows.
This team does look very sexy tho you can not deny that

I think Allen would be the one to move. Montembault showed potential last year, hence Hugues seems to be looking at long term.

Allen would be better suited for a trade if Isles want to get a high level backup. Habs would probably retain money also.

Isn't Allen in his walk year this season? OP is doing a 2023-24 ACGM here so Allen would be a UFA signing, not a trade.

Used MTL as a place holder and I wanted a player back. Saw Montembault still had a year left so it solved the backup problem pretty easily

Montembeault showed nothing, he is pretty bad and inconsistent
He's a 3rd goalie string right now
