Description

This is a practice for my best guess of all 32 teams Opening Night Rosters. More than anything I'm hoping this gives me some insight into other fan bases opinions as to how close I am.

With this being said there are obviously still some interesting UFA's on the market that need homes, so bare with me.

Obviously we can't predict what will happen with Batherson and Formenton so for the sake of the exercise I have them in

Only thing is 4th line probably going to be Kelly - Kastelic - Watson

Gambrell should be the 13th forward

I agree, not enough love going around for Kasty!

Also, it would be a huge disappointment, in my opinion, if Zaitsev is still here to start the season.

IMO, the last guy we had who was literally made to be a 4th line Center was Jesse Winchester. Kastelic is going to be perfect in that role.

You (Pierre) received a lot of praise for the moves made this summer and it's deserved but repairing your mistakes is costly!

First, look at all that dead cap! We also just spent a 3rd and a 7th round pick to repair Murray's contract

Zaitsev would cost at least the same amount to dump but it's your call Pierre. If it means we are going to further improve the team (defense) then go ahead!

You got it.
I think the 4th lien would be Kelly - Steel - Watson.
I think Brannstrom and Steel could be paid a bit more. I would swap Brannstrom and Holden.
