Did something happen or is it his neurologic condition just not resolving?

On July 14 McCrimmon said Patrick has had “no significant progress” in his rehab since he was termed out indefinitely at the end of the season and added, “right now focusing on hockey is putting the cart before the horse.”

For now we’ll leave Patrick out of the lineup and hope for the best for him on and off the ice.

That'd be dumb. Hague is Vegas' 6th best D currently, why would he get more?
