Description

So im doing an expansion draft
based on the last protection lists and whos a UFA is how i decided

ANA wont have anything crazy that would be left unprotected so De Leo is fine
AZ is like wow just bad so ig mayo or brown
BOS will leave one of Reilly or Forbort and one of Ulmark or Swayma unproteced went with Ulmark
BUF umm no idea Bjork ig
CGY Lot to chose from but i assume Anderson hanifin Tanev get protected and then the top 6 of course plus maybe coleman Went with Kylington
CAR pfft this is hard either burns gets protected and KK and Necas arent or Both do and Burns isnt obviuslly its hard to for see but i think burns would be left unprotected if they belive in morrow, Bear would be available too so that is probably the pick instead of burns
CHI-Barren, an ahler/4th liner so whatever i picked Raddysh
COL- has alot to protect, Girard like graves get left behind (Dunn basically)
CBJ- Bean IG
DAL- Hakanpaa ig
DET-Depends what happens with them really but fabbri or perron or Zadina are proably unprotected, went with fabbri
EDM- Gonna be a similar Protection list but kane would proably be unprotected and would a new franchise wanna take a chance with him idk, went with JP instead
FLA - they get unlucky and BOB doesnt waive, Knight gets taken
LA- lotta defense and Forwards to take from, I belive Turrcotte wouldnt be protect if avaliable and i think hed be eligible given expansion rules, him or Roy/durzi/walker
MIN- No idea pfft dewar ig
MTL- Hoffman ig
NSH- Johansson probably ig
NJD- Micheal mcloed may be available
NYI - Baliey
NYR- I dont think Chytil will get protected given they might go 4 forwards 4 dmen
OTT- given how hard it would be to predict whod theyd protect from the forward group i just went pinto, Could be formentan or joseph too
PHI- Ellis doesnt get protected, If he comes back hed be a great jersey sell and a good player
if not still a good jersey seller but on LTIR
PIT- Kapanen IG
SJ- IDK Luke Kunin
SEA - N/A obviously
STL - Leddy and Scandella dont get protected but who wants to take them, so nathan walker
TB - Honestly they are able to protect even they need aside from maybe colton ross idk tbh, just went with him
TOR - Jarnkrok gets selected again
VAN - Jet Woo is a great pick here
VGK - Whitecloud proably
WSH - Protas ig no clear pick
Wpg - Appleton again lol

Everyone on LTIR is traded on before the season or on the deadline of there inguinal year,
kunin anywhere
Hoffman and Bailey retained 50% of cousre can maybe get a 2nd for Bailey but hoffman proably a 4th
Trade Johanson at 50% as well for like a first and second
Keep Bear or Brown if ellis is LTIR'd again

I might be mistaken, but i think Puljujarvi will still be an RFA after this coming yr so he would be protected.... But now i am second guessing if RFA are automatically protected or if they have to be chosen to be protected....

Because they were exempt or because they were put on the protected list by management??
