If Van offered Miller for Dobson, Raty and an unprotected 2023 1st? I think that's much closer to Van's ask than your offer.

Your offer would never be accepted by Vancouver, Pretty sure Miller started with Dobson. And Lou would've ended the conversation right then and there.

Well that’s a delusional asking price. Miller is a good player and I don’t think it’s fair to credit all of his success to secondary assists and the power play, but he’s not worth any piece in that package based on age alone.

Also buying out Josh Bailey is beyond moronic. Worst thing you can say about him is that he is overpaid.

Knowing how delusional that trade was, instead I just remade the lines instead.

The fifth line is just an extra, and the lines are made according to my own standards, as that we should be giving some of the kids some time to play.

- I also bought out Bailey's contract, because I felt he's a bit old for the team, and getting him off would free up potential cap space to sign a free agent. Because for his age, he is in fact very overpaid, and he doesn't really produce much, yes. Bailey has had some good goals that have put us forward in the playoffs, (2019 NYI vs PIT first round overtime winner), But other than that, he doesn't really produce many goals in a 5 on 5 situation, call me crazy. But that's my belief.

He’s 29? He’s not worth Dobson but Raty and a 2023 first would both have to be at least movable for Miller (Maybe not both in one trade)

Why would I trade Raty for a guy signed umt age 37 who isn’t a true #1 center? His contract hurts his value bro.

5th in points for centres in the past 5 years isn’t a true #1 centre? How many number 1 centres in the league are there? 3

This year (would do 3 year data but could not find it)
He was 9th in points and 6th in secondary assists (one more then 9th place.

Arguing he’s not a number 1 centre is an absolute joke

I said he isn’t a true #1 center. I should’ve said he isn’t an elite #1 center.

How many centres are better then him? He’s not a top 10 centre but he’s up there. He’s an above average 1C
