Alex Kerfoot isn’t worth Scott Mayfield based on positional value. Asking the isles to take Justin Holl makes this deal beyond ridiculous.

That being said the Sandin/Lundkvist swap makes sense to me, but idk that NYR can make the cap work.

I don’t really see Holl as a cap dump. Top 9 FW and a bottom 4 dman for a 2nd pair d man. It’s not beyond ridiculous but if they don’t like those players individually/they don’t fit what they need that’s fine.

Honestly I prefer when Lou does nothing. I believe that one of Wally/Raty/Dufour will hit. If Wally has his Dobson style break our year under Lambert then the isles forward core will be fine.
