Description
Trade for Robertson then bridge himBy the time the bridge deal is up Palmieri, Lee, and Nelson will be off the books. Made it four years so his contract year doesn’t coincide with Dobson and Romanov’s. I was gonna add Raty to the deal instead of Holmstrom but Dallas seems loaded w Center prospects (Johnston, Bourque, Stankoven, Stranges).

That isn’t close to enough for Robertson. None of those prospects have top 6 upside. Robertson is one of the best players in the NHL and he’s only 23

How much more do we have to give up then? Raty could definitely be in a deal but i doubt dallas would want another center prospect. Odelius? More firsts? Beauvillier?

It would probably cost Raty, Wahlstrom, Beauvillier and a 1st at least.

If it was a deal around Dobson and Robertson, the isles wouldn’t be adding much. Both teams probably decline.

No chance. Young elite RHD are one of the rarest things in the NHL. They would add a 2nd at most.

Idea of Robertson fetching a package including Dobson and several other high end assets is ridiculous. The gap between the two guys isn’t that wide lol.
