Description

This is a strong lineup throughout, signing Dal Colle gives us a little bit more size and could be a Nichuschkin style pickup to try to revitalize his career. Injuries are bound to happen and with older guys like Helm and Cogs, Meyers should still see plenty of ice time.

Stralman could be talked into cup chasing (hopefully), he's already made quite a bit with his last contract and he would still be a solid bottom six guy if someone needs a night off or if an injury happens. He wouldn't be as sketchy an option to have out there for a contender like Macdermid was at certain points last year. Still need guys like Mac for certain teams to police, but he's not an everyday player or a guy who should play more than 10 minutes a night on a contending team.

I think the avs could add a guy off a pto still if they want but not jacked a bout those targets. I think they could find better players than them just by being patient on the waiver wire sitting on that remaining cap space

Dal Colle is kinda pointless when Meyers is a lock to start the season with the team, and internal candidates like Kaut and Maltsev ready to make the jump. Stralman is a guy that COL has been interested in the past but they aren’t going to go over the vet minimum for a 7th d.
