Yeah, eating up a retention spot for two years when we have our own rentals to ship out is a non starter.

Anaheim isn't helping you out with that much retention for 2 years, and Calgary probably isn't giving up Zadorov for Dermott and a pick.

Why is Philly doing this? Rathbone is only 3 years younger than Sanheim, so it's not like they're getting drastically younger trading a vet for the rookie - plus you're dumping Jason Dickinson on them and asking them to retain? I know Chuck Fletcher is a horrible GM but even *he* is calling this one a turd.
