If Colorado needs a better goalie then why do you have them downgrading at goal in this trade?

How is this a downgrade? Ned played behind one of the worst defenses in the NHL. And Georgiev was a back up with a pretty solid defensive team and his numbers are terrible. Ned on a good team (Canes) put up great numbers.

Hmm maybe because Girard is in this trade and he’s quite good at age 24
