wouldnt trade nolan 1v1, so a first and a 2nd for whitecloud?

Holy overpay. I'm not even sure I'd trade Hoglander for Whitecloud straight up

This trade isn't even that bad. Whitecloud is good, and he's on a dirt cheap contract for 6 years. By the time his contract is up 2.75 will be league minimum. I would do Hog and a 2nd for cloud, maybe a 1st and 2nd with no hog. Patrick is basically a non factor cause he is injured and his future is unsure.

I like Whitecloud too, but the question is can he regularly play top 4 minutes, or is he only capable of doing so in a pinch?

I think he is a solid second pair guy. If he can be a good second pair rd for 6 years at 2.75 its still very good value

He's 3rd pair on the Golden Knights depth chart. That team has a strong blueline, at least in theory, because DeBoer's system didn't facilitate strong team defense, but as we know, the Golden Knights have issues with other parts of their roster.

Nolan has 0 value. He probably doesn't see NHL time ever again with his forever ongoing injuries
