You don't trade a young cost controlled stud top 4 D for an unproven prospect. It would take way more than Kapanen for Montour. My guess would be Kapanen, a 1st and a B prospect. Will be a sellers market on D. Who ever gets some of these D are going to PAY top price.

I think the Leafs have a couple other Duck defensemen higher on their list, and your proposed trade is by no means realistic at all. As well, the Leafs don't have much use for a slow and aging stay-at-home defenseman in Alzner. The Leafs could spend much more wisely with that money.
