I truly don't understand the negative feelings EDM fans have with Foegele.

It traces directly back to trading for a RFA without a contract, giving him a middle 6 scoring winger contract, then realizing he’s a bottom 6 grinder.

He’s not a bad player, but the expectations were out of whack

Maybe there's an adjustment period for him in EDM, but me personally, I think he's Coleman in the making.

I think people will actually end up being pretty shocked the calibre of the players who will get waived before the season starts for largely just cap reasons. Foegele getting waived wouldnt surprise me that much

I believe the move is to send Holloway and Broberg down to maximize the bonus part of the relief. The LTIR explanation on this site is more complicated than the actual LTIR rules. Edmonton immediately recalls the once the LTIR pools are set.
