Description
Not a huge fan of Benn and Segs on the same line, but if they’re both fully healthy I feel like Wyatt would be an ideal line mate for them. If Marchie is the key to finding old days Faksa I’m down. Feel like Delly would be good with them. Cogs-Fox-Delly was a good line til Comeau came back and ruined it. Bourque has nice chemistry with Blumel and Guri. Get them out there with Harley and Miller against softer competition I feel like they could do some damage. Don’t see Kivi or Glendening getting scratched tho. Kivi is a bounce back candidate as well. Stank has the goods but Bourque is the older, more complete player

With how much they've played together during preseason camp & how well they've done, I can't see DeBoer splitting up the Marchment-Hintz-Gurianov line. Shoot, that line could stay together even if Robertson is in the opening night lineup.

Marchment-Hintz-Gurianov
Peterson-Seguin-Pavelski
Benn-Johnston-Dellandrea
Studenic-Faksa-Glendening
Kiviranta

Don't see Bourque starting in the NHL. He'll be in the AHL to start the season, simply because he can be as opposed to Bourque and Johnston. Blumel looks good, but loses a spot to Studenic because he's not waiver-exempt, and Dellandrea who should be first in line among the bubble candidates based on the year he had last year, both in the AHL and during Game 7.

I don’t disagree with any of that. Could easily see those being the lines. Gotta see what they look like in the new system, but I feel like Kivi and Studenic are those guys like Janmark that try hard but struggle to finish. Blumel puts the biscuit in the basket. Regardless it’s nice to have the depth and talent. You’re likely spot on when you mentioned waivers. Nill doesn’t like losing assets for nothing. But if they’re looking to get Faksa going Glendening and Studenic aren’t the guys to do it. Was nice to see him net front on the power play tho. I think a second unit with Marchie-Fox-Guri up front could be very effective

That's what I'm seeing as well for the lines.
