Description
Normally I hate when fans just want to keep bringing back old players and trying to relive the good times, but I think this could make some sense.

Minny gets out from Pominville's contract and moves Brodin in exchange for a good, expansion exempt forward and the 8th overall pick this year.
Vanek comes back to where his career began.

Arizona needs to spend some money and are desperate for scoring. Giving up a 3rd in hopes that Ennis can regain his 20 goal form isn't too unrealistic. Maybe we retain like a million or something.

- First line is all speed. Every one of them has a good shot, with Baptiste being the only real unknown, but he has the tools necessary to keep up I think. Promote the kids, and you gotta give them a real shot.
- Second line is scoring and defense. All three can throw the body and have some scoring touch. I see it as kind of how Anaheim's second line was.
- Third line could be dangerous and create some matchup problems. Sure Vanek and Pominville have slowed a bit but they both just came within a few points of hitting 50 each which is pretty solid. Combine his shot and scoring touch with Reinhart and Pomiville's playmaking and I think you're in for a treat.
- Fourth line can score, hit, and play solid defense. I love Larsson as a 4th line center.

vanek and pominville can reunite somewhere else on their own time. i am fine with ennis for some kind of pick, could even be later, and brodin for our first sounds pretty decent too.

I like the ideas. Ideally you want Minny to retain some salary and I would shuffle the D pairs and have Brodin play his off side not antipin. Overall makes sense and would be a good offseason

Theirs no reason to believe any team will take a 3rd round flier on Ennis

Even if they don't I don't see it being a big deal, we have enough money to re-sign Eichel, Reinhart, and Kane should we choose to keep him. I guess even retaining 1M couldn't hurt.

Doesn't have to be a 3rd rounder, I'd take just about anything. Maybe put a condition on it that if he scores 20+ or plays X amount of games the pick becomes a higher one.

I don't think we'd be able to re-sign Kane but that's perfectly fine with me. Your other moves make sense to me, and actually seem realistic. I like it!

Throw in Babtiste in the Brodin trade and I'll think about it...
