His chances of getting 5 mil a year went out the window on July 1st. At best he gets 4 mil a year, but I expect about 3-3.5. It's getting real close to him signing for real cheap just to get a job.

Look at the trade....a young NHL Dman Murphy, for a maybe NHLer Dumoulin, throwing money away Scuderi ,and never has been an NHLer Erixon (well a few games) Why does Arizona do this except to provide cap space for Pens?

I would sign for the NHL minimum...$ 575,000, but NHL clubs aren't knocking down my door. Franson wants 5 m. He's getting about the same door knocking as me.
