You know who would be a great replacement to replace Laine?

Oh wait, we traded Bjorkstrand…..

Us losing Tex and Bjorkstrand is really going to show how bad it is if we get injuries. With Laine out we already have huge holes... Will take a miracle or one of the young guns to step up to save the season... Its tank time.

Way too early to say it’s tank time, it’s been 1 game. I do agree trading Bjorkstrand was the wrong move, but at the same time I gotta assume Jarmo didn’t have much of a choice. If he did have other options then he absolutely blew it.

Yeah, I was mostly joking but we looked BAD last night after the Laine injury... Only bright spots were Cole and Tarasov and maybe Danforth. Jack looks to be regressing to how he played last season minus the last two months which isn't great. He's such a streaky player

I definitely think Cole takes the 2C spot from Jack in the near future. It just seems like the past couple years the team can never get the puck over the pads with those in the crease rebound shots.

Roslovic needs good players to be good, he won’t carry a line. I do think if he skates with Gaudreau or Laine he will be a much better player.

All jokes aside I’d like to see someone like Bemstrom get a look with Gaudreau when he came over he was supposed to have this great shot, maybe getting him on the top line unlocks something, but it could also be his last chance to do anything with Columbus.

I feel like if Laine is out long term the first line is going to be a blender to see who fits best so I could see almost every winger making an appearance on Johnny's line to see who can fit.
