Their defence and goaltending are still severely flawed here. Their forward group would be excellent though.

I can't see Montreal winning the Bedard sweepstakes. They are better then some teams. And really do the Habs and their fans want to be so bad, that that their many youngsters don 't show NHL growth this season?

Yes montreal can surprise others but others can surprise montreal too. I do agree that montreal might not get the Bedard Lottery ticket and i think Pasternak will sign big long term contract in Boston and be the next captain imo
