Why would we sell so low on Boeser? He would have to have a pretty bad season to only return a late first round pick

The cap doesn't work on the Minnesota trade. We will have to re-sign Boldy this offseason and if we added Boeser, we would just barely be able to fill out the rest of the roster with players signing at exactly the league minimum. There would be no room for injury call ups and we would be further into the cap hell we're already going to be sitting in. It would be even worse in 2024-25 since we have Foligno, Hartman, and Zuccarello, who we'll want to keep around, all reaching UFA and Hartman for sure being due a major raise.

Straight up n from wild. Besides not having the cap, boeser is injury prone and Minnesota doesn't need Wingers!

Boeser isn't really a fit in Minnesota right now, he just got an extension and this would be Vancouver selling low on the guy
