That was just an example, it can be a different player. If you don't want Moulson at all let me know, but I'm flexible with who I take in return.

I'd be interested in him retained but not at 5 mil

I can't retain so that isn't an option. I already have max retained contracts on the books.
You might be able to work something out where I trade him to another team and then you trade for him with retention, so if you want to look into that option let me know.

What about the rights to Fedun for a 6th?

I'd be interested in him retained but not at 5 mil

I can't retain so that isn't an option. I already have max retained contracts on the books.
You might be able to work something out where I trade him to another team and then you trade for him with retention, so if you want to look into that option let me know.

What about the rights to Fedun for a 6th?

I'm looking to move Plekanec, Beauchemin, or Niemi. They are a little overpaid, but come off the books in 1 year, so can serve as a stop-gap.
Plekanec and Beauchemin should still be useful after this season and be cheaper to re-sign.
Niemi's numbers are still backup quality at even strength.

I'd move Greene as well, who is good and on a reasonable contract, but his ability to play next season is up in the air right now.
If he can't play, he goes on LTIR or retires, so he wouldn't affect cap space. You can get him cheap with no risk, I just don't have a roster spot for him if he does play.

I can take similar contracts back, or a lower value contract with more term. I'd like a little cap relief, but that isn't my priority.
Burrows, Hamhuis, Girgensons, or Foligno might be of interest.

I may add depending on who's involved, I just need to know if you have interest in any of those players first and whether cap space is an issue for you or not.

I have an offer for Eichel ?

Jk, I'm wondering if you came up with anything for Malkin?

Anything u can think of while looking at my roster?

Oreilly + guhle (top D prospect) to start?

I would probably want O Reilly, Hanafin, and a 2018 high pick as a base

Does a letera for pleck trade interest you?

I'd have to look more into Lehtera first. I'd prefer a winger and not sure how much wing Lehtera can play.
Might have to be a 2 for 2 though, as I think Plekanec is a better shutdown guy and I think he will be cheaper than Lehtera if I re-sign him next season.

Give me a few and I'll get back to you.

You want an offer? How about Hamilton+Giordano+Ward for Ekblad+Donskoi+Hamhuis? nod

Lehtera doesn't really seem to play wing unfortunately. If I were going to take him as a C, I'd need to move another dedicated center as well.

Plekanec + Laughton + Cam Ward + Matt Greene for
                              Lehtera + Burrows

Laughton gives you a long term replacement if you decide not to re-sign Plekanec.
Plekanec is better and cheaper than Lehtera in the long run.
Ward would be a backup for a season.
Greene will be a solid RHD if he plays, and will cost you nothing if he doesn't.

A little extra cap space spent for this season in favor of a lot of extra cap space next season, when the UFA market especially is looking much better and has some big names.
