With Ekblad on LTIR and their defense core looking very thin, I think this is a move that would be considered by Florida. I’m fine with letting go of Graves as he has been one of our worst dmen this year. Looks slow and always on his heels. His decision making also moves in slow motion. It also allows for Lundell to get full second line minutes while allowing Bennett to play top line minutes. Sharangovich replaces Bennett upfront and they also get more pieces on the backend. Devils need a physical forward and they get a skilled one to play with Hughes. I think Hughes and Bratt need to play together bc they are the two best players on the team by far. They work really well together and both of their skill are maximized when playing together. An injury in the top 9 means that Zetterlund comes in with the top 9. He should be playing top 9 minutes. I’m guessing an injury will be coming soon so he will go in when that happens. Devils acquire Ghost as he is a fluid dman and the devils throw in bernier to the deal bc it will be a challenge to work out the cap if he does return. If he doesn’t return, yotes have him on an expiring deal and he goes on LTIR. Also Johnssons contract is a lot less in actual money for this year and expires next season.
