Time to dramatically change the lineup

Created by: herzausstein
Team: 2022-23 Nashville Predators
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 19, 2022
Published: Oct. 19, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Mini rant

Parssinen is ready and never shouldve been sent down.
Glass is being held back with inferior linemates
McD and Ekholm pairing doesnt work. They play too similar a game and lack foot speed to be on ice at same time.
Granlund and Trenin have been underwhelming.

I’d be happy with that lineup.

I thought Granlund had a good game last night, so I’m not down on him like I am some other players— Johansen, Trenin, McDonagh, Ekholm, Carrier.

We also need to stop with sloppy penalties. We just seem to always be a step behind this season— look very slow on the ice overall.

If Glass is a good fit with Duchene and Forsberg, I wouldn't be opposed to trying Granlund on the wing with the Johansen-Nino line. Keep the herd together and try a Tolvanen-Pärssinen-Tomasino 4th line.

I think part of the problem is that we are looking to make hits Nd play physical for the sake of just doing it which can put us out of position instead of just making the simpler play. Thats why im slowly edging towards breaking up the herd. The players are being pigeon holed into being nothing more than physical players when theyre each more than just that
