    2.
    ANA
    1. 2023 5th round pick (NYI)
    Additional Details:
Pick was conditional. Becomes a 4th if the Islanders make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, becomes a 3rd if they make it to the ECF. They probably lose in the 1st round or miss the playoffs entirely though, so it remains a 5th.

        2. 2023 1st round pick (NSH)
        Additional Details:
2023 3rd round pick also in play, but is conditional. Ducks only acquire it if Nashville makes it to the 2nd round of the playoffs and Klingberg plays in 50% of the Predators 1st round playoff games. They probably lose in round one though so they probably don’t get it.

You'd have to trade for Pasta before the deadline to get him signed for 8 years, which is absolutely not happening.

I meant to put 7 years. That was a misclick. I fixed it.

              Would be absolute gas

I’d give the B’s their 2nd back if we could get Pasta on that deal if I’m being honest — @Lenny7 thoughts?

I think we would have McTavish in the middle with Bedard on the RW though but that could give Pasta even more oneT chances though so that could be a missive more for the ‘2nd line’

Also I think it would be Fowler Drysdale - Graves Helleson - Zellweger Gudas for the d pairs you have here

I definitely think McTavish needs to be playing up the middle, but I'd say it's Strome that moves to the wing here. I mean, if you've got Z/McTavish/Bedard down the middle, surely to god we wouldn't have to worry about Derek Grant being on the ice for 3 on 3 OT, right?!?!?!

              For real!

OT could be LIT — Z Terry JD - McTavish Pasta Zellweger - Bedard Vatrano Fowler — straight GAS man

If we got blessed with Zegras McTavish Bedard down the middle for the next 10+ years man, holy hell

I refuse to allow my expectations to get to that point anyway tears of joy I'd be extremely satisfied to get Fantilli, Yager or Wood. Michkov would be an awesome pick, but I'm really not sold on GM's lining up for a guy that won't be here until 2026 at the earliest. That's a dangerous pick, especially for any GM's that are on the hot seat (Which could actually help the Ducks...)

I don't see a reality existing where we both convince Pastranak to sign here long term to chase cups, AND wind the Bedard sweepstakes. I think we are actually okay at our top 6 RW between Terry, Strome, and Vatrano, its the top 6 LW that will need focus, especially once Henrique is gone.

I don't see the point in shipping Silf off with a pick, and I doubt NJ is interested in him. We can either bury him in the AHL or buy him out if he is that bad, or ride out the year with him on the 4th line.

But yeah, our defense either needs to show us the potential they actually have, or it needs a serious overhaul. I want to say its lack of chemistry that's dragging them down and it'll get better. I need to watch the tape from last nights game, but it seems we locked it down a lot better for Gibby.

I do love Fantilli as a prospect

Also sorta like Yager Musty But Stramel

If we can somehow have 3 1st rounders this year, man on man

In addition to not setting my feelings up to be hurt by us being ever-so-slightly too good for a top 5 pick, I'm also going to temper my expectations on a Klinger trade return...Manson return is what I'd guess if it were today...I'd love a 1st, but I absolutely refuse to set myself up for that tears of joy

I’m hoping between Manson and Lindholm

That'd be ideal. I'm just worried that he's perhaps not exactly who a team would be targetting from a defensive perspective in a trade. Guy is dynamic AF offensively, and our PP looks miles better than it did, but he's a bit rough defensively (though last night the entire team played a lot better in their own zone...)

All of that is very true

I wonder if Verbeek will look at dealing Gibby

Can't see it until at least the offseason next year. I'd imagine Stolie goes if someone tosses up a 3rd at the deadline or something. You and I both know how good Gibby is when the team plays at least reasonably in their own zone. Unfortunately that's pretty rare, and shows with his all-around numbers. Unless someone gets desperate to take a shot, I don't think he moves...zero point in doing anything unless it's an overpay, which I just simply don't see happening.

I’m just trying to think of spots he could go potentially

Devils, Pittsburg (if they are moving on from Jarry) and not sure who else off the top of my head
