We are inundated with good LHD and the value doesnt line up either

So leafs take a LD and a bottom 6 guy and a 1st which will be in teh 30's
Give up a top line forward, their top RD prospect, and a 2nd

doesnt make any sense for the leafs at all.

Leafs problem with season has been scoring. Nylander has been either the best or second best forward on the Leafs this season. And as mentioned above, Leafs have lots of LHD, even with Muzzin injured.
Can't see the Leafs trading RHD Niemela. Will he be an NHLer? But Leafs really have to try to develop as there will be spot available for him soon.
