Heh. So what is your value breakdown on the STL trade?

It was mostly just a fun idea/shakeup for two sputtering teams. Thought behind it was St.Louis looks to be on the edge of passing the torch to the younger guys, especially with pending UFAs. The trade gives them some cost assurance and some more offense which they seemingly desperately need (23GF through 11GP). Cap wise it was essentially a wash ($50,000 difference). Myers is the sticky point, however going into the last year of his contract he could likely be flipped in the offseason to clear space for other moves if desired (sign Mayfield in UFA?).

Canucks finally add some defense to their defense, and Barbashev would be a helluva 3C here.

Or Toronto could just get ROR from St Louis for less. He is not worth a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd right now with how St Louis is playing.

The additional picks were largely for cap considerations. But you're right, they could just trade for him with STL.

Okay, but that doesn't answer my question. I'm asking how the value of what STL gives portions out to what they are getting back. ROR equals what? Barbashev equals what? And so on.
