    i doubt poolman starts next season on LTIR... so you have around 300K to add your top 4RD and who are you trading to make the cap work? going off your 1 mill increase...

    Have you seen the Ducks defense this season? We desperately need someone to muscle guys out of the crease. We are overstocked on puck moving/offensive defensemen, and we are paying for it dearly, we need someone defensively responsible.

    Also the whole problem with Drysdale being out for the entire season, and having only him at RD signed for next year, Myers fills a hole nicely and we are not at all worried about cap space for thelength of his contract.

    2.8 mill current cap space so plenty of room if poolman is not on LTIR
