Hard pass on that Vancouver trade. Miller has looked awful this year, and we don't need to lock ourselves into another remarkably long deal. Plus, whether we want to believe it or not, we need Carlson

Do we though. Erik G can handle the power play. Jensen or Tvr can play top pair. And we just need to get another rd then. Maybe Luke Schenn. Everyone is working well. It’s our scoring and bad goals that’s our issue currently with Carlson.

A player has to be pretty good if they are playing "bad" and still putting up a point per game

Yeah that also. But I do remember you saying in the season thread. Miller is one of those guys who can have a bad night and still put up two points.

Passing the puck to a guy that passes the puck to a guy that scores isn't anything special. Especially if that person is the cause of a bunch of bad plays or goals against. Basically I'm agreeing with you, I think Vancouver should be stuck with Miller for the next 8+ years.

I'm curious as to why everyone wants Strome with Ovi, they have been better this season, imo, when not on the same line.

Hate to be the one to say it but JT Miller has 0 secondary assists so far this season. All primary assists bud

Wasn't really meaning it as a shot at Miller just agreeing with him that a guy can get two points and have a really bad game. Either way Miller isn't going to get moved, they should have moved him in last deadline or in the offseason in my opinion and used that cap and assets for defensive help.

Yeah I know that he can have a bad game and still get 2 points. I’m the one who originally pointed that out. Weird player that way. Infuriating to watch on screen, but his point totals just keep climbing

Is he just trying to do to much that he's making bad plays? I've only watched a couple Canucks games and didn't really pay too close attention to him. I could see him being the type that might try to do to much and cause a turn over or something. That said I don't think he's the problem, that defence could use some help.

I think he tries to be to fancy and throws some dumb passes here and there. Definitely like what you said. Made a dumb play which led to a goal yesterday. Could’ve passed off the boards but instead went straight up the middle and turned it over

don't think this is enough for SJ to trade Meier but it's not far off
for example I'd think they'd want the 2023 1st

Lol yes we do. Neither Jensen or TVR are top pairing guys, you're lying to yourself if you think they are.
