Description

I would send Xhekaj down in the minors as Matheson comes back. I don't wanna touch the other pairings of Guhle-Savard and Harris-Kovacevic, and playing Xhekaj on his off-wing would be a diservice to him. He is taking a lot of penalties in the play as well, I would make him play big minutes in the AHL with Barron.

They cant send wifi down to the minors. He will probably be in and out of the lineup though. He's such a presence and the young kids love him! Slaf admitted as much that they feel safe with him back there and those giant mitts of his!

Matheson return will be interesting. They have to be working on some kind of deal. Kovacevic most likely goes down and Wideman on waivers.

Kovacevic is not waivers exempt tho, I really love Xhekaj too, but seems like the logical thing to do.
