A huge chunk of that will be reserved for the Aho/Necas/Jarvis mega-contracts, but because those won't kick in until the season after, that means that Carolina could be in line for some more huge one-season adds next offseason. I'd bet significant money on Pavelski, for example, being a 1 year+ Cane if Dallas bows out in the 1st round again.

Why stop there? Add Kane/Toews for a one year dream team.

Not enough for Ghost, especially with retention. Neither Coghlan or Bokk are needle movers and the 2nds might as well be 3rds given how good the Canes are. There will be a lot of teams bidding for Ghost, the deadline always drives up prices and this offer is just a lot of "stuff" no real value.
