I think the Jets would maybe do the 4th for Kapanen, but there's no need for them to overpay and move Appleton.

You got this so wrong. Minnesota wouldn't be the one paying. They aren't taking on that contract

Dude, no. MAF is gone, we have moved on. Play DeSmith a bit more and let Jarry work through his injury and bad play. He will bounce back.

The long term one. MAF is a 1 & 1 & has been better than expected along with cheap. Minnesota has wallstedt also

Jarry is a UFA after this season. Do you mean possible extension? Also, Jarry and MAF make the same this season.

Yes, but the second and third round pick change things too. Should consider I think

Only if you don't think Jarry is a long term goalie.

Well I think he might be a franchise goalie, but he hasn't shown us that yet. Has had great seasons, but needs to show in playoffs. The issue is I don't think its a garauntee we make it this year, and if we do I don't think we will be for that many more years. So all that factored in I think it is worth it to make the move to get picks back.

That's fair. He was looking great last year prior to the injury. That NYI series still haunts me too. Then again we have seen Flower fold in the playoffs many times. Goaltending seems to be a gamble unless your guy is elite.
