Anderson is currently our best goalie. I think he and the Sabres are happy with his work and approach, including as a mentor. Having said that, if he wants to leave to take one last shot at a cup, I think the Sabres would agree, and a mid round pick sounds appropriate.

I don’t really see how these trades are needed. Bernier if anything should be back eventually later in the season and running 2D and a 3G as our healthy scratches doesn’t make sense to me at all

Kulikov has not been playing as well as we remember him here. (Caveat, small sample sizes,, etc).

And Fitzy said he will not be adding rentals

Roster setup is for the time until the playoffs. That‘s the way they‘d have to do it to not lose anybody through waivers. Obviously in the postseason there are expanded rosters…

GMTF would be stupid to not get some assurance/ depth if we manage to get into the playoffs. Don‘t see why what speaks again low end depth moves.

Probably all depends on cost.
And a lot could change by deadline.

But I endorse the conservative approach.
