The Oilers are profoundly inconsistent, only 4 forwards are producing and the Defense is Swiss-cheese. This team is not looking like a play-off contender and there is real panic in E-Town.

You're asking a lot of teams to retain a lot of money for you, and you frankly don't have the picks to pay for that level of retention.

Ducks are going to decline on retaining 24+ million in salary, using 7 years of retention, and giving up Warren for that offer.
