#1- Love Zibanejad but he turns 30 y/o at the end of the season. Sanderson alone is a major stud in the making and he's just 20. Adding Batherson on a steal of a contract (even if not on top of his game right now) makes it even worse.

#2- Trade value might be close but I don't know, might not be a good idea to bring back Ceci to this market and fanbase

#3- that's a lot of retention and Karlsson at 7.3 is a good contract but DeBrincat (just cost a 7th OA pick + 2nd + 3rd) and 21 y/o Pinto is a MAJOR price to pay

#4- I know the intent of the thread but yeah, Hoffman and Wideman will never play for Ottawa again

#5- A bit like the Zibanejad trade, Stone turns 31 y/o at the end of this season... Tkachuk is 23 y/o and the team captain, a modern day powerforward. Adding a top notch prospect like Greig, a potential top-5 pick in a great draft and another 1st makes it absolulety awful for Ottawa

#6- Giving up the 19th OA pick from 3 years ago and another first for a guy considered a cap dump by Isles fans doesn't seem too ideal

#7- ok that might be closer to real market value

#8- ok

#9- lot of quantity but absolutely what Ottawa should NOT do

#10- a 2nd and 2 late picks for Zub would be very disappointing vs extending him

etc
