I never liked the Engvall for about two years, and when the Leafs are fully healthy (which will probably never happen anyways), the Leafs aren't cap complient

That’s a no from Columbus, I’d rather have Bemstrom over Engvall, though I’d rather Bemstrom got claimed by someone like Arizona and finally given a shot to play in the top 6 or with top players vs being stuck on the 4th line in Columbus.

Leafs are at 50 max contracts so someone has to move out to bring anyone in. Don’t mind Braun trade for emergency cover (Benn & Braun as playoff backups); maybe 5th / 6th + prospect.
Not going to waste a contract slot on winger that will never play this year; & Engvall - while infuriating - is valuable. That combo of size and speed is pretty rare; and it’s not like when he’s on the ice we’re getting caved in. Gotta keep him and hope he wakes up by playoffs
