Garbage for the Canucks. 2nd alone barely gets you Kuzmenko, but if you want the Canucks to take Foegele, you have to take either Pearson or Poolman's contract

I wouldn’t mind Kuzmenko, he’s on a very nice contract, I’d probably go out and ship Yamo+ for a top 4 dman as well.
That being said they’re 5 points ahead of us, I don’t see this as a plausible move until way further in the season, if they do decide to tank

I don’t mind Schenn he’s the sandpaper dman we need but he’s a RD, we have a logjam there and unfortunately w how imbedded into the team and how proud Kenny is.. I don’t think we trade Barrie this season.

Hawks accept. Seems like an overpay though unless you just want to get rid of Yamo.

If Domi is 1/2 retained, it's not that far off since Yamamoto is not living up to his cap hit of $3.1M. He's been a bit invisible this season, 3 points in 13 games, and now is on IR. Maybe he's been injured longer then expected and hence why he's had very bad production for the first 13 games. JP is probably another option who has 6 points in 24 games to move out cap for the oilers.

The trade as proposed showed no salary retention. That's why I thought including Yamo was a little much. If Yamo doesn't really cost Hawks anything to get, I definitely think he's worth picking up.
