If the Leafs were to acquire Kane, then you want to put someone on the wing with Kane and Matthews like knies. If you want to jump start a player, that LW position should be that person, not necessarily your best LW as Kane and Matthews could dominate on their own.

Laughably bad offer for Horvat, especially with retention. It starts with the 2023 1st and Niemela, not a 2025 1st and cap dump Kerfoot

Nothing better than a pick from a draft two years away, covid patient 0, and a cap dump for our captain and future captain. Even the extra second isn't enough for just Schenn.
