Description
I love Parayko more than anyone but... Kucherov is probably on Tarasenko's level. I don't know if he's able to play LW but if we could somehow get them on the same line, WOW.

I'm a really big Zibanejad fan and I think he could have a HIGE year if he centered Tarasenko. I also think he'd be easier to acquire than other center targets. Stastny and Fabbri have great chemistry and either Schwartz/Kucherov (depending on if Kuch can play LW) would be deadly. The Williams signing gives us veteran leadership and another capable scorer.

Best-case scenario, we don't have to trade up to draft Kostin at #20 and Hague at #27. Or maybe we trade them for an established RHD.

NYR won't do that trade. If I were moving Parayko (not happening), it would have to be for a 1C. Think Draisaitl, Horvat, Scheifle, Kuznetsov, Barkov etc. A one-for-one wouldn't get it done for some of those guys, but teams are always looking for 1RD. Sure, these centers are immovable, but so is Parayko IMO.

I like the Kostin pick. And the Williams signing, if we can move out some contracts that would be a great add.

Getting TB to trade Kucherov would be the same as trying to get the Blues to trade Tarasenko. It's not happening.

Plus as already stated moving Parayko would require a legitimate #1C. Horvat doesn't get Parayko.

I don't recall seeing Kuch play LW since he's been in Tampa. Doesn't matter, you wouldn't make a trade like that and then move your new guy away from his natural position. Drouin is a natural LW smile
