There might be but it won't be to TB. 4 mil Myers costs both Perbix and Colton.
Edit: Myers isn't worth giving up either one nevermind both.

You are a true canuckle fan tears of joy squinty smile . ZERO chance Leafs would give that up for Horvat (rental) & Schenn (he would be our 7th dman right now). Truly deluded

The only thing missing on the Horvat trade is 50% retention? Drop Sandin & Schenn from this, add 50% retention on Bo and that's likely his return. Went a little overboard here. There will be a bidding war for Bo at the deadline.

fair i think there is a taker out there tho. only put tampa bc i think he would be best on an already proven team where he can slot into the system

Forgot to add retention, would retain on any bo deal. if you actually read the post before you comment you can see i dont think they should trade bo, but if they did the package should look like that. obviously thats the high end of the spectrum. thats the point.

TB might be great for him, but at that price he isn't for TB

fair, put this ACGM together quickly. Better trade could be maybe to boston for foligno and a pick.

You sure? Rumour is less than Bjorkstrand and they are willing to take back a short term cap hit simply because they are trying to dump cap for next year. I don't even think he gets a 2nd at this point

i think the willingness to take back cap is a necessity just to make the money work in any trade. If his value is truly lower than a 2nd right now then they should absolutely hold on to him. Waiting to break out for a monster year hasnt put together a full 82 yet and his value is as low as it will ever be, can clear cap elsewhere

Sure, in a world where human interaction and emotion didn't matter that would make sense. Unfortunately Boeser, his agent, and the team seem to have all agreed it is best if they part ways and Boeser's agent is now searching for a place that fits Brock best. On top of that Vancouver is in no way dealing from a position of strength, their goal here is to move the player as soon as they can simply for the players sake as well as the teams desire to make cap space going into the next 2 seasons. Many teams are already tight against the cap and asking them to take on a hefty cap hit of an underperforming player with term is not easy. Look at what it cost to dump Monahan and Pacioretty this summer. Pittsburg had to drastically hurt their defense depth because they didn't want to pay that price to dump Zucker too. There is literally talk that Vancouver has refused to pay to dump Boeser, implying that teams must have asked for compensation

Boeser still loves van and both sides have said they are happy to continue the realtionship. The canucks are not nearly in the situation Vegas or Calgary were in when they made those trade so to compare them is pointless. Even if Boeser is underperforming he is still a 25 year old with 16 in 21 and 272 in 345 in his career. You really think canucks have to pay to dump that player just because he makes 6.6? and the fact that the canucks "have said" refused to pay to dump boeser means the media asked not the teams. litterally a quote from canucks twitter lol

No I don't think they will have to dump. I just don't think they will get a good return for him at all
