Description
Friedman said that a Boeser for Mantha trade would potentially make sense, but I don't see the logic behind it. I would see more logic in a Horvat to Washington trade but I doubt Vancouver would be really happy with the assets WSH could give them. Also, I doubt Washington wouls so a big splash this season with their record, I think they should wait until the summer and sign a center on the UFA market. Let me know your thoughts on this! I hesitated a lot between a pick (2nd or 3rd round) and a prospect, but WSH doesn't have a lot of prospects so I would see them throw a pick before a young player. With a move like that, WSH would still have plenty of capspace to go out and get a left handed top 4 dman. I tried to make a Chychrun deal but I highly doubt the value is fair nor both teams would be willing to do the trade lol.

Don’t see the logic in that for Vancouver. They already have too many wingers, moving a Horvat for another one makes no sense

Agreed, but they could move Miller to center and have a top 9 of: Mikeheyev-Pettersson-Boeser/ Hoglander-Miller-Mantha/ Kuzmenko-Studnicka-Garland
Like that they would replace Horvat with an other top 6 forward without losing him for nothing next summer. They would also get a pick back that they can use in a future trade or to draft someone.

Caps pass, We're stacked at center, no need for Horvat. Mantha is a great and need to play him more.

Same if Chych. He's good but he's not a need at all. We have Orlov, Fhervary, Alexeyev on the left side, which is pretty darn good. What Caps need is a young, high end top 6 winger. If you're going to use top end assets like Lapierre and high picks, go for that.

Mantha+2nd for Bo Horvat, Get real that offer is easily beaten.

Bo Horvat won't commit long term with Washington they're probably heading towards a rebuild in the next 2-3 years.

Arizona passes as well.
