Unique twist giving Trochek. I really like him & he fits the hole for a C left behind. That said it’s a lateral move with not enough to make it go through.

Both Goodrow and Lafreniere (even if not performing at the 1OA status that everyone continues to expect), have both produced more than Anderson, to this point. While both combined have a lesser Cap hit than Anderson. Absolutely no incentive to make that deal.

Canucks reject the 2nd deal. Lateral move, as mentioned above.

Ranger fans love Motte, but not enough to pay a 2nd for him.

Josh the invisible power forward @5x 5.5m is a terriblly worse than Goody @4x 3.6m, plus Laf?! Trocheck 6x 5.6m over Horvat 7x 9m. Next year -5m, hence no Horvat either lol.

Hook, line, sinker. You two really fall for the bait?

As long as we don't hook an Anderson! His father John is a better target

If it’s a lateral move, you’re moving a pending UFA for a guy with term though. Unless you don’t like that Trochek contract term (which could be a fair take, he’s getting older), wouldn’t Trochek have more value than Horvat?

Not sure either team does it, just kinda curious. Not sure where the Canucks go next.
