Vancouver's GM would get fired about 2 seconds after the owner found out he traded Kuzmenko for that.

Where Niemelä is a great asset, I don't think he's worth Kuzy right now. He's fit in SO well into the NHL game and has a decent value since this season he's super cheap. And I'd prefer to take Pearson over Kerfoot, they are fairly equal but I'd prefer pearson as he has more upper line time.

Canucks wouldn't do this. But I also think the Leafs don't do this. Niemelä is too valued to their system to go into a rental.
