No way should the Sens acquire a Dman for two years and give up so much. Just keep Zaitsev and Thompson for a year at RHD. Keep the picks, Thompson and Boucher.

These are for sure Best Case Scenario deals for DeBrincat and Pinto.
DeMelo can be had for much less than Chychrun. He paired well with Chabot and has 1 year remaining on his deal with a $3M hit.
That would give JBD another season to grow into a legit top 4.
I'd also hope to get Zub at $4.5M with less term. Guess we'll see...
Not sure how comfy I'd feel about contending with that tandem.

That's too much for Chychrun who has 2 years before UFA, then becomes a potential overpaid injury prone player

Actually, remove Boucher and I would do it. Not that I think that Boucher has a lot of value but he just got drafted

Sens took a big gamble on him and have to follow through
