Reimer would be a major upgrade over Rittich. Helley COULD play 60+ regular season games but I don't think the Jets should bank on that. You need a cup run, not a presidents trophy. Reimer helps lighten Helleys load down the stretch and gets the Jets a quality back/ 1B starter.

Picks probably what, 10-18? maybe higher since this would be a mid season acquisition for Buffalo. I think you can't deny JJP, 1st; JJP seems like a no brainer for SJS to ask for to put with Eklund and Bordeleau.

Idk how to finish the trade, ask SJS to take on Bishop since Buffalo will be spending more actual cash. I also see 0% of an opening for Ryan Johnson in Buffalo with how log jammed their future on D could be.

I think the Sabres are in GO mode. They knew what they had in Tage, and yet he looks like a league wide franchise center now with little up for discussion. The Bills are also in go mode.. the city of Buffalo now more than ever should be looking to be champs.

I don't want to knock the Sabres lineup, but bringing in a player like Meier makes that offence look playoff ready.

Meier COMES with an extension. I'd expect 8.8-9.5 x 7-8 years maybe 6 if hes really bold to bet on himself but I think hes going for term.
