D Core hasn't been whelming at all so not sure it can get worse! But I figure if the D options are as slim as they are, might as well go for the young player angle the FO says they are after. And hopefully Johansson turns into something and Schenn doesn't fall off a cliff.

It might be challenging money wise but shedding Myers makes it doable and the Halak, Virtanen and Holtby $ is freed up as well. Might take a Pearson trade as well. Maybe they can dump Stillman too lol

I think Boeser, Lekkarimaki and Rathbone are already enough for San Jose to accept. Thing is, how does this deal make the Canucks better today and in the future? Meier is already 26 and gonna command a raise when his contract is up. He shoots like five shots a game consistently, but in Vancouver watch him only shoot twice per game! 😂
