Description

Just spit balling an idea to use Bob's contract to get prospects or picks etc..

Chicago take Bob's full contract, but also Panthers supposedly best 2 prospects.
Chicago will need to hit cap floor eventually after we target everyone.

Hawks can then send Bob somewhere else 50% retained if he gets back to his best for.more picks.

Davidson would have to be really high on those 2 prospects to take on Bob with no retention and not get a single draft pick

I agree.

I know nothing about the 2 prospects other than that their listed as their best 2. Panthers don't have the 1st to give which makes it harder for them to move Bob.

Samo is nice, Deni's stock is low and rapidly falling with his performance this year, and there are no included picks. Considering FLA's pipeline is so depleted and they don't have any first round picks for a while, they should probably just hang onto everything they have. Dumping Bob is gonna be more expensive than it's worth for FLA to do it.
