As a Leaf fan, I’d honestly put Nylander there before Matthews this season. I fully expect Matthews to turn it up in the second half, but he’s been fairly underwhelming. Someone like Brady Tkachuk would be more deserving so far.

Yeah They are having off years but I couldn’t think of who else to do for the Pacfic goalie and Demko is really good just having a bad year but I could see someone else instead of huberdeau

I agree but I wanted to put into this a combination of really good this year and also just the best in the game so Matthews may be having a down year(even though he is still Point per game) but he is a generational player almost every year

Skinner would probably be the choice over Demko based on this year

Nylander, Tuch, Skinner, Tkachuk are all over a point a game and more viable options than Caufield. Probably other more viable options over Caufield as well these three just came to mind first.
