Created by: Ennis
Team: 2022-23 Nashville Predators
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 7, 2023

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Trades
1.
NSH
  1. Merkley, Ryan
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (SJS)
2.
NSH
  1. Foegele, Warren
  2. 2023 1st round pick (EDM)
  3. 2023 3rd round pick (EDM)
EDM
  1. Ekholm, Mattias
Additional Details:
I love Ekky, but its probably for the best to see him go. His game is still there, but I'd rather re-tool at this TDL.
3.
NSH
  1. Voit, Ty
  2. 2023 1st round pick (TOR)
TOR
  1. Jeannot, Tanner
Additional Details:
Most Preds fans love Jeannot, and I do too. But, If we could get a decent package for him, I'd rather do that. He's 25, only worth 800k and an expiring RFA. If moved to toronto, could add some sandpaper to that "soft as 2ply" bottom 6. (don't kill me leaf fans its a joke).
4.
NSH
  1. Stranges, Antonio
  2. 2023 5th round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
Dallas could use some top 6 scoring help for a playoff run. Nino could slot in nice along the wing in the stars' system.
DAL
  1. Niederreiter, Nino ($1,000,000 retained)
5.
NSH
  1. 2023 6th round pick (NYR)

As a Leaf fan, your opinion on the bottom 6 is pretty accurate. I like the idea of Tanner coming to town. Just what Leafs need.

Just wanted to comment that "2-ply" would be pretty rough..."10-ply" on the other hand would be plush and soft to the touch wink

I’d do most of these. My only issues are with the Nino and Ekholm trades. I have feeling Ekholm could fetch a ton of assets from Edmonton, so I think this deal favors them. I’d also rather just get a pick for Nino.

We might be a able to get a tiny bit more for Fabbro too, but I don’t mind that deal

I dont know id Ekholm would fetch is a ton, at least not fron edmonton. Gavrikov is on the block and he’s cheaper and younger. If we could get a 1st+ for Ekky, i’d get it done.

Teams need players like Ekholm, so someone will have to pay up. Plus, he’s been playing great recently and for the majority of this year. LAK and EDM seem like two very logical landing spots
