Making big splash in 2017 Draft

Created by: TM23winger
Team: 2017-18 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 5, 2017

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The Blackhawks are hosting the 2017 NHL draft and would like to help bring back the positive energy they have lost in the last two years of the playoffs.

Adding: Cody Glass-really close to being NHL ready, Future starting Goalie Jake Oettinger and future top 6 d-man Callan Foote. This comes with a huge loss but Hawks get cap space to help balance out the lineups. Getting back top 6 dman with experience and a solid backup goalie at a cheap price worth making the trade. The Islanders need a young dman and Strome needs more playing time and hawks need to shed cap space so getting a less expensive center for future dman and picks is worth the trade.

A lot going on but more likely its just an outsiders chance to make these moves happen it seems it could help the hawks. Hawks don't have to have a top 10 scorer but more balance would be ideal. The twin 10 million dollar contracts and Seabrook's 7 million is hurting the team badly.

Don't think Bonino is signing for 2.5 mil.

That's still not enough for Panarin to me. There are going to be plenty of backup options, Montoya isn't needed to be part of a trade. Panarin is worth more than the 6th pick alone, which means Merrill and Montoya have to be worth more than Anisimov, which they aren't. Besides, Vegas won't want to trade their first draft pick ever.

Yep there is a lot going here for sure! Trouble is with your VGK thing, Panarin is exempt and Anisimov would have to waive his NMC for it to work from Chicago's side.
