You mean the guy playing huge minutes for the 3rd best defensive team in the league? Or Schenn playing 16 minutes a night on one of the worst defensive teams in the league? How on earth do people not see that?

Why would a team pay a 3rd for a guy that isn't going to play? TO isn't wasting a 3rd on a guy who will not likely play.
